Realities to be revealed soon: Javed Hashmi

MULTAN, December 12 (Online): PML(N)'s acting chief Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that the military regime could not impose its will on the Muslim League. "Whatever the present government did, was purely a personal vengeance," he said adding that the realities would soon be unveiled before the nation.

He expressed these views while talking to the newsmen here at the Multan Airport Tuesday. He said that the politics and politicians in Pakistan had been passing through a very difficult phase.

"Unfortunately, in our country, the establishment and few other elements disintegrate huge political parties to smaller ones through pressurising them and then these tiny parties have to form alliances", he said.

The acting PML(N) chief said a true political process in the country would automatically determine the actual size and status of political parties.

Answering a question, he said Nawaz Sharif did not tender any apology nor did he struck any deal with the military government adding that he did not even commit to remain out of politics for next five or ten years.

He thanked Nawaz Sharif for placing confidence in him. Javed Hashmi said that Nawaz Sharif's stronghold on the PML was still there. He said Nawaz Sharif faced many hardships but he kept his morale ad his stand very firm. He said the army could not compel any PML leader to act upon army's wishes and desires.

He also thanked the Muslim Ummah for extending a helping hand in this hour of need
