Sharif's deal may prove detrimental to country's security: Nawabzada Nasrullah  


ISLAMABAD, December 12 (Online): Country's prominent political Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan has said the disparity which the government has carried out in the Nawaz Sharif's case is important and it may prove detrimental to country's security, reports Voice of Germany.

Commenting on the legal position of Nawaz Sharif's exile a prominent law expert and Principal of Pakistan College of Law, Hamayyun Ehsan said that there was no room of exile under the law and this might be termed as self-exile. To another question about freedom and sovereignty of judiciary, he said "Such incidents are shameful. If we see this development, it is shameful for all the parties including people, institutions and officers in all aspects".

Jamaat-e-Islami leader, Liaquat Baloch while commenting on this connection said, "This incident would result in casting negative effects for all and sundry. The culprit who was sentenced for corruption and misuse of power was allowed to leave the country. This incident will not have any positive effect. The cowardice, which Nawaz Sharif has demonstrated, spoiled his political career but at the same time this development also tarnished the credibility of the army to a great extent".

Talking about Sharif's exile, prominent industrialist, Pervez Hameed said that Nawaz had not done anything wrong.
