PM directs PIA to airlift insecticide from Mumbai for prevention of dengue in Punjab       
ISLAMABAD, Sep 20 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday directed the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) to airlift the insecticide from Mumbai, India, meant for prevention of dengue in Punjab.These insecticides were purchased by the Punjab Government.It may be pointed out that the PIA was reluctant to airlift the insecticide due to its rules which prohibit the transportation of the material of this nature.

The Prime Minister’s instructions amount to according a waiver in the face of epidemic of dengue in the province of the Punjab.
