PM congratulates women cricket team for winning a gold 

      
ISLAMABAD, Nov 19 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Friday congratulated the Pakistani women cricket team for winning their first-ever gold at the South Asian Games in China and bringing laurels for the country. The Pakistan women cricket team created history by defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets to win the first-ever Asian Games women cricket tournament - the first gold for Pakistan in Guangzhou.
Prime Minister Gilani invited the Pakistani women cricket team to a reception at the PM House as soon as it returns home. The Prime Minister in a message said he was pleased by the performance of the team and hoped it would continue to bring more good name to the country.
Captain Sana Mir after winning the toss invited Bangladesh to bat first and the opponents were dismissed for 92 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
