Gilani pays tribute to Begum Nusrat Bhutto
LAHORE, Oct 23 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has paid rich tribute to Begum Nusrat Bhutto for her services to democracy, her sacrifices for restoration of constitution and her indefatigable role in struggle against dictatorship in the country. The Prime Minister was  overwhelmed with emotion and had moist eyes at  a Press conference  he held  in Zahoor Elahi House here on Sunday. The  Prime Minister said in the death of Begum Nusrat Bhutto,  Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had lost a great  and a distinguished leader. “I condole with the nation, PPP workers across the world, Bhutto family, President Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto and Sanam Bhutto on the sad demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto”, Gilani said. The Prime Minister said he had telephoned President Asif Ali Zardari and condoled  the death of PPP mentor and a person par excellence. The former chairperson of the PPP and First Lady, Begum Nusrat Bhutto (82), passed away   in Dubai on Sunday.
