FATA Senators call on PM
ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (APP): A delegation of Senators from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) met Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here at the Prime Minister House on Thursday evening and apprised him about the development projects being undertaken in FATA. The members of delegation appreciated the Prime Minister for his keen interest in the development of FATA which was evident from the fact that he had doubled the development funds for the areas which would go a long way in improving quality of life including creation of job opportunities for their people. The Prime Minister thanked the Senators and asked them to keep him informed about the ongoing development projects in the area so that these could be completed timely.
The Prime Minister said that development strategy of his government was focused on completion of those projects which have already been completed to the extent of 60-70 percent.
 The meeting was attended by Senators Islamuddin, Eng. Rashid Ahmed Khan, Haji Khan Afridi, Hafiz Rasheed Ahmad, M. Idrees Khan Safi, Abdul Raziq, Abdul Rashid and Sughra Imam.
