Gilani strongly condemns murder of three doctors; vows to safeguard rights of minorities
LAHORE, Nov 8 (APP):  Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Tuesday strongly condemned the “abhorrent murder” of three doctor brothers, belonging to the Hindu community and directed that the culprits be brought to justice, without fail.The Prime Minister spoke to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah about the murder of Dr Ajeet Kumar, Naresh Kumar and Ashok Kumar and directed that the perpetrators must be arrested and the law must take its course.He said some elements wanted to create unrest in the country, but vowed that their evil intentions and designs will be foiled by the democratic government, with the support of the people of Pakistan.Prime Minister Gilani said Pakistan Peoples Party was the upholder of the rights of the minorities and would continue to support their equal rights, without any discrimination.
He said the minorities were equal citizens of Pakistan and the democratic government and the PPP would continue to safeguard and preserve their constitutional rights with determination and conviction.
