PM felicitates all parliamentarians on unanimous passage of pro- women bill in NA
LAHORE, Nov 15 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday congratulated all the Parliamentarians, particularly the Women Parliamentarians for the unanimous passage of Anti-Women Practices Criminal Law Amendment Bill 2008.
The Prime Minister recalled that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had always given very high priority to legislation that protected the rights of women and it was in this spirit that all the legislators of PPP lent their full support to this Bill moved on the private Members Day by Donia Aziz.
 The Prime Minister said that PPP and its democratic government had always risen above party politics when it is a matter of right of women.
 The Prime Minister stated that women were his constituency and he would continue to lend full support to legislation and its implementation when rights of women are at stake.
