PM greets Lebanese counterpart on Independence Day
ISLAMABAD, Nov 21 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has sent a message of greetings to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon Najib Mikati, on their Independence Day falling on November 22. In his message, the Prime Minister said: “I have great pleasure in conveying on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan and on my own behalf warmest felicitations to Your Excellency, the government and people of Lebanon, on the auspicious occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Lebanon.”
 He said, “Our two countries enjoy close and fraternal relations and I am confident that our existing bonds of friendship and cooperation would be further strengthened in the years ahead to the mutual benefit of our two peoples.”
 “I avail this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s health and happiness and for the continued progress and prosperity of the brotherly people of Lebanon,” he added.
