PM chairs meeting to review development projects
ISLAMABAD, Nov 28 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani chaired a meeting here on Monday to review the development portfolios completed during the present democratic government. The Prime Minister said that projects under the banner of Karwan-e-Tameer of over Rs. 1.3 trillion have been completed from Khyber to Karachi and he would visit each constituency to inaugurate development projects to boost the socio-economic uplift of the people. He added that the development projects undertaken by the present democratic government were of record volume in the history of our country.
The Prime Minister urged the Ministers and Parliamentarians to visit their constituencies and apprise the people about the development projects completed which were aimed at their socio-economic uplift.
Those who attended the meeting included Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Ms. Farzana Raja, Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Dr Nadeem ul Haq, Senator Syeda Sughra Imam, Qamar Zaman Kaira, MNA, Nazar Muhammad Gondal, MNA, Secretary Cabinet Mrs Nargis Sethi, Secretary Information and Broadcasting Taimur Azmat Osman, Secretary Information Technology Saeed Ahmad Khan and Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Zamurd Khan.
