NATO attacks on Pakistani soldiers alarming: Gilani
ISLAMABAD, Nov 30 (APP):The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader in Indian Occupied Kashmir Syed Ali Gilani has strongly condemned the recent NATO attacks on Pakistan soldiers, terming it alarming. In a statement issued in Srinagar, Syed Ali Gilani expressed solidarity with the people of Pakistan. He said:“Our hearts are beating with our brethren in Pakistan and we share their joys and sorrows.” “Despite weaknesses, Pakistan is the focus of hopes for the Muslims world over. There is no dearth of people in this country who always feel the pain and pang of Muslims living in other parts of the world and they have been from time to time demonstrating sympathy and solidarity with them.
“This is because of it only that this country has been a thorn in the eyes of anti-Muslims forces. The enmity of these forces gained extraordinary momentum after Pakistan became a nuclear power. They are conspiring to disintegrate it. But, Pakistan and its brave people are fighting against these forces,” he maintained.
The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader advised the people of Pakistan to be ready for any sacrifice to protect the country’s ideological and geographical boundaries.
He appealed to all the heads of the OIC member countries to rise to the occasion and save this important Muslim country from the external aggression.
