Former Defence Secretary pays farewell call on PM
ISLAMABAD, Dec 2 (APP): Former Defence Secretary, Lt General (Retd), Syed Athar Ali paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here at the Prime Minister House on Friday.The Prime Minister appreciated his professional acumen and the services which he rendered to improve the defence and professional capabilities of the Army during his distinguished career in the Army.
 As a Defence Secretary, the Prime Minister said, his dedication and commitment to the cause of national defence made qualitative difference in enhancing the defence capabilities of the armed forces.
 The Prime Minister expressed his best wishes for the former Defence Secretary.
