Minister for Culture calls on PM
ISLAMABAD, Dec 22 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Wednesday that the people of Pakistan had shown remarkable zeal in helping their flood affected brethren.He specially appreciated the gesture of the employees of different government organizations for contributing generously towards this cause.The Prime Minister was talking to Minister for Culture, Pir Aftab Shah Jilani who called on him along with Secretary Ministry of Culture here at his Parliament House Chamber to present a cheque of Rs. 0.963 million for the PM’s Flood Relief Fund on behalf of the employees of the Ministry.
The Prime Minister appreciated the gesture of the employees of the Ministry of Culture and thanked them for their assistance in this hour of need. He said that every effort will be made to rehabilitate the flood affected areas.
