PM awards Rs. 300,000 cheque to caretaker of Chinese graveyard
ISLAMABAD, Jan 8 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani awarded a cheque of Rs. 300,000 to Manzoor Hussain, caretaker of the Chinese graveyard in Danyore, Gilgit-Baltistan, here at the PM House Saturday evening.The Prime Minister had announced this reward for Mr. Manzoor Hussain in presence of the Chinese Premier during the handing over ceremony of Pak-China Center on December 18, 2010.Gilani lauded Manzoor Hussain for his perseverance and enthusiasm in taking care of the graves of the Chinese who joined their Pakistani brethren in the construction of the historic Karakorum Highway. Manzoor Hussain thanked the Prime Minister.
