Gilani assures govt focusing on development projects

       
ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Monday that the government was focusing on the development projects because prosperity of the people was directly related to the timely completion of schemes.The Prime Minister expressed these views during his meeting with Ms. Fauzia Behram, MPA and Mansoor Hayat Tamman, former MNA from Chakwal, who called on him at Prime Minister House.The Prime Minister asked them to prepare for the upcoming local bodies elections.  He urged them to monitor progress of the on-going development schemes launched for the uplift of the areas.
Fauzia Behram apprised the Prime Minister of ongoing development projects in her constituency and also discussed schemes launched to facilitate farmers for harvesting of peanut crop.
Ms. Fauzia and Mansoor thanked the Prime Minister for his keen interest in the uplift of district Chakwal.  They also lauded his policy of reconciliation for the sustainability of democratic process in the country
