PM orders dispatch of relief goods for Sri Lankan’s flood victims
ISLAMABAD, Jan 24 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday directed that a special PAF C-130 aircraft carrying relief items be dispatched to Sri Lanka.The recent floods in Sri Lanka have affected one million people who are in acute need of food, shelter and health care.Pakistan enjoys close brotherly relations with Sri Lanka and this gesture of Pakistan comes as a sign of solidarity with the people and Government of Sri Lanka.
