Govt focusing on improvement of all economic sectors: PM
MULTAN, Jan 30 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Sunday that the government was focusing on improvement of all sectors of the economy, including agriculture.Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (Multan) at Circuit House here, Gilani said a number of initiatives had been taken to improve the agriculture sector.  He added that the government was fully alive to issues concerning the textile industry as well as cotton purchase.
He said that the government offered incentives to all sectors which would surely help increase exports and that would ultimately help overcome economic problems and lead the economy towards prosperity.
Earlier, the PCGA delegation headed by Chairman Masood A Majeed, lauded the political acumen of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani for reconciliatory politics. They also sought cooperation for cotton research to improve its quality.
