PM orders close monitoring of Pakistanis in Egypt
ISLAMABAD, Jan 31 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Monday directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to closely monitor and assess the evolving security situation in Egypt and keep him apprised of the welfare of Pakistani community there on regular basis.The Prime Minister inquired about the safety and security of the Pakistani nationals in Egypt from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of Pakistan in Cairo.
The Prime Minister has further directed that the Ministry, in coordination with other Divisions and Departments concerned,should have a contingency plan to meet any emergency situation,if required,for ensuring the safe exit of Pakistani nationals from Egypt.
