PM condoles death of UAE leader 

      
ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday expressed his deep sorrow over the sad demise of Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammad Al-Qasimi, Member of UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah and described him as a “great leader.”The Prime Minister in his separate messages to Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum said;“On behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan, as well as my own behalf, I would like to convey to Your Highness our heartfelt condolences,” the Prime Minister said.
“May Allah Almighty in his infinite mercy rest the departed soul in eternal peace. May He give Your Highness, the esteemed members of the Royal family of Ras Al-Khaimah and the people of UAE, the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Gilani said in his message.
Prime Minister Gilani in his message to Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al-Qasimi, son of the late leader, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah expressed his deep sorrow.
Gilani in his message expressed his condolences and that of the people of Pakistan over the sad demise of “a great leader”.
He said the late leader “admirably led Ras Al-Khaimah and played a significant role in the development of the United Arab Emirates. He was also a sincere friend of Pakistan whose memory will always be fondly cherished.”
“May Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give Your Highness, the esteemed members of your family and the people of Ras Al-Khaimah and UAE, the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
