PM approves promotions of 26 officers
ISLAMABAD, Feb 17 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has approved the recommendations of the High Powered Selection Board, made in its meeting held on Thursday, for promotion of 11 officers of Occupational Groups and Services from BS-21 to BS-22.The Prime Minister also approved the recommendations of the Central Selection Board for promotion of 15 officers including two BS-20 and 13 BS-19 officers of various services and groups to BS-21 and BS-20, respectively.
The officers, who have been promoted to the post of Secretary
(BS-22) and equivalent, from regularly constituted Occupational
Groups and Services are as under:-
1)    Mr. Miangul Akbar Zeb (Foreign Service Group).
2)    Mr. Aneece Marghoob (Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service).
3)    Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed (Police Service of Pakistan).
4)    Mr. Farid Ullah Khan (DMG).
5)    Mr. Muhammad Javed Iqbal Awan (DMG).
6)    Mr. Shafqat Hussain Naghmi (DMG).
7)    Mr. Mohammad Ayub Qazi (DMG).
8)    Mr. Habib Ullah Khan Khattak (DMG).
9)    Mr. Attaullah Khan, Maj (Retd.) (DMG).
10)    Mr. Khalid Sultan, Capt. (Retd) (DMG).
11)    Mr. Jaweed Akhar (Secretariat Group).

The officers of various services/groups/departments, who have been promoted to BS-21 and BS-20 are as under:

BS-20 to BS-21.
2)    Mr. Arif Mahmood, (Pakistan Meteorological Department) from
BS-20 to BS-21.
3)    Mir Badsha (Foreign Service Group) BS-19 to BS-20.
4)    Syed Hassan Raza (Foreign Service Group) BS-19 to BS-20.
5)    Mr. Ehsan Ullah Bath (Foreign Service Group) BS-19 to BS-
20.
6)    Mr. Saeed Khan Mohmand (Foreign Service Group) BS-19 to BS-
20.
7)    Mr. Zaheer Pervez Khan (Foreign Service Group) BS-19 to BS-
