PM greets Turkish counterpart on Proclamation Day 

      
ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has felicitated Turkish Prime Minister,Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of 87th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Turkey falling on October 29.In his message, the Prime Minister said, “on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, I have the honour to extend our warmest felicitation on the auspicious occasion of 87th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Turkey.
He said that the warm fraternal relations between Pakistan and Turkey are deeply rooted in common religion, history and culture, adding that the special relationship has transcended the geographical distance between the two countries, and continues to flourish.The Prime Minister said that Turkey’s generous assistance in the wake of recent floods in Pakistan bears testimony to this fact.  He expressed the confidence that these ties will grow from strength to strength in the future.
