PM expresses solidarity with Japan over quake tragedy
ISLAMABAD, Mar 11 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has expressed solidarity with the Japanese government and its people on the tragic earthquake that hit the country Friday.In a message to his Japanese counterpart Naoto Kan, Prime Minister Gilani said, “We stand ready to help, in any manner, to alleviate the suffering and assist our Japanese friends to overcome the effects of this terrible natural calamity.” The Prime Minister said the government and people of Pakistan stand in full solidarity with the Japanese people and government at this hour of grief and tragedy.
“We are deeply disturbed and shocked to hear about the loss of life and devastation caused by the terrible earthquake and tsunami.”He expressed profound condolences to those who lost their
loved ones.
