Govt to pursue policy of reconciliation: Gilani
KARACHI, March 11 (APP):  Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the government will pursue its policy of reconciliation in the larger interest of the country. Ebad Khan, and Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who called on him at the Governor House here on Friday soon after his arrival here  from Lahore, an official said. Regarding the law and order situation, the Prime Minister said that the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have to be more vigilant of the intents of anti-social and extremist elements lest they could create any law and order situation.
Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani saidthat the government in coordination with provincial authorities would take appropriate steps to protect the lives and property of the people.
The Governor and the Chief Minister of Sindh apprised the Prime Minister of the security situation in the province as well as the political developments.
They also briefed the Prime Minister on the on-going development projects in various parts of the province.
