Kyrgyz FM calls on PM Gilani; discuss bilateral ties
BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, March 16 (APP): Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here on Wednesday and discussed issues of mutual and bilateral interest.In a meeting held at the Ala Archa State Residence, the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister conveyed to Prime Minister Gilani his government’s desire to enhance the level of relations with Pakistan at all levels.Prime Minister Gilani mentioned that during his talks with his Kyrgyz counterpart yesterday, the two sides agreed to institutionalize bilateral consultations between their Foreign Ministries.
He said Pakistan looked forward to an all-encompassing and unprecedented level of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan for the development of the two countries.
The Kyrgyz Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Gilani over Pakistan’s offer to train Kyrgyz diplomats at the Foreign Service Academy.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, Secretary Defence Lt Gen (retd) Syed Athar Ali and President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries Senator Ghulam Ali, Ambassador Tanvir Akhtar Khaskheli and Schon Group’s Khizar Schon were present during the meeting.
