Bhutanese PM given formal welcome at PM House
ISLAMABAD, Mar 19 (APP): Prime Minister of Bhutan Lyonchhen Jigmi Y. Thinley was givenformal welcome as he arrived at the Prime Minister House here on Saturday.A contingent of armed forces presented guard of honour to the visiting dignitary. National anthems of the two countries were played on the occasion. The Bhutanese prime minister reviewed the parade.Prime Minister Gilani introduced the Bhutanese prime minister with his cabinet members.Later the two Prime Ministers proceeded for one-on-one talks.Bhutan’s Prime Minister Lyonchhen Jigmi Y. Thinley arrived here Friday on a three-day visit to hold talks with Pakistani leadership to further bolster bilateral ties.The Bhutanese Prime Minister is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Gilani.
