Pakistan, China enjoy dependable strategic partnership: PM
ISLAMABAD, April 2 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Saturday that Pakistan-China friendship was reflection of the close relations between the leadership and the peoples of the two countries. The 60 years of close bilateral ties have witnessed strengthening of relations to the level of dependable strategic partnership which will be mutually beneficial for the peoples of the two countries, he added. The Prime Minister was talking to Ambassador of Pakistan in China Masood Khan, who called on him here at the PM House.
The Prime Minister directed the Ambassador to ensure that his forthcoming visit to China in May was thoroughly prepared to make it result-oriented.
He further asked him to prioritize the areas and projects of cooperation with China in coordination with the ministries and departments concerned of the Government of Pakistan and the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, before his visit with the view that it achieves tangible results.
The Ambassador briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
He apprised the Prime Minister that Chinese were keenly looking forward to his expected visit to their country in the near future
