PM visits graves of Z A Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto
GHARI KHUDA BUKSH (Larkana), April 3 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani visited the grave of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto here on Sunday on the eve of his 32nd death anniversary. The Prime Minister laid a wreath at the grave and offered ‘Fateha’. He was was accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, federal ministers Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah and Syed Naveed Qamar, PPP Central Information Secretary Qamar Zaman Kaira and senior party leaders. He also visited the grave of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, laid a wreath and offered Fateha.
Talking to newsmen, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani paid glowing tribute to the founder of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
He also recalled Quaid-i-Awam’s immense sacrifices for the country and the people.
The Prime Minister said that both Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto sacrificed their lives for the cause of democracy.
He said that democracy had been restored in the country because of their sacrifices.
Prime Minister Gilani said that the government was taking along the coalition partners in accordance with the politics of reconciliation advocated by Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and that it would continue to pursue the policy.
He also laid wreaths at the graves of Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto and offered Fateha.
