Services of all contractual medical practitioners to be regularized: PM
ISLAMABAD, April 11 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday informed the National Assembly that services  of all contractual medical practitioners would be regularized according to law.In a policy statement, the Prime Minister said that a three-member committee headed by Federal Secretary Health and comprising representatives of Ministry of Finance and Establishment Division  had been constituted  to work out details and to improve service structure of health practitioners. He said the committee would submit its report within 15 days.
The Prime Minister said that government was giving prime importance to improve career structure of doctors, adding that he had announced an improved career structure for the doctors and other health professions.
He said the new career structure would help improve the basic pay scale of medical practitioners.
Prime Minister Gilani expressed the hope that health practitioner would devote all their energies to their profession.
