PM approves free medical treatment for poor elderly artists

       
ISLAMABAD, Nov 2 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday directed the Ministry of Health to provide free medical treatment to all poor and old age artists/artisans of the country.The Prime Minister in this regard approved the provision of free medical treatment to artists and artisans who are above 60 years of age and earning monthly income less than Rs. 10,000.This facility will be available on production of documents and undertaking that he was not receiving any financial assistance from any other organization previously.
Free medical treatment facility will also be available to those artists and artisans who are suffering from severe physical or mental disability
