PM asks CM Balochistan to approach veteran Baloch leaders for reconciliation
ISLAMABAD, Apr 20 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday asked the Chief Minister Balochistan to approach the veteran leaders of Balochistan in connection with the reconciliation of the estranged groups of Balochistan.The government has withdrawn army from this area to create a congenial environment for starting political dialogue, he added.The Prime Minister while talking to Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani here at his Chamber in the Parliament House on Wednesday  afternoon said that all development schemes launched for public welfare would be completed on priority basis.The Prime Minister inquired from the Chief Minister Balochistan about the progress of work on completion of Kachi Canal, Road and Dam projects.
He directed that priority should be accorded to the ongoing projects where more than 50 percent work has been completed.
The Prime Minister also directed the provincial government to provide fool-proof security to the company which is working on Gawadar to Mastung railway line construction projects.
The Chief Minister apprised the Prime Minister about the progress of projects initiated under Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan.  He stated that work on completion of Rato Dero to Gawadar and Zhob to DI Khan Roads is in full progress.
He also apprised the Prime Minister about pace of work on dams and electricity supply projects. He discussed progress of work on foreign funding projects launched for the uplift of backward areas of Balochistan as well.
Political and law and order situation of Balochistan was also discussed in the meeting.Deputy Speaker Balochistan Syed Moti Ullah Agha, Minister for Communication and works Balochistan Mir Mohammad Saddiq Umrani and Minister for Public Health Engineering of Balochistan Moulana Syed Abdul Bari Agha were also present in the meeting. They also discussed progress of work launched in their constituencies.
