Development schemes to be completed by optimal utilization of funds: PM
ISLAMABAD, Apr 20 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said that the development schemes initiated by the Government would be completed by optimal utilization of available funds in close coordination with the public representatives.He added that suggestions for improvement and minimization of cost on the ongoing development activities are always welcomed by the Government.The Prime Minister was talking to Parliamentarians who called on him here at his Parliament House Chamber on Wednesday evening.The Prime Minister said that his interaction with Parliamentarians on different occasion provides valuable inputs regarding the government’s endeavors for welfare of people at large.
He added that projects of public importance have been prioritized to maximize the benefits to the masses.
The Parliamentarians informed the Prime Minister about various problems specific to their respective areas. They also briefed the Prime Minister about the progress on the ongoing development schemes in their constituencies.
The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities for taking measures for resolution of the issues of Parliamentarians.
Jamshed Dasti, MNA thanked the Prime Minister for the provision of bus for public service for Muzaffargarh. He invited the Prime Minister to visit his constituency.
Other Parliamentarians included, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar, MNAs Laced Ali Khan, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Nawab Abdul Ghana Talpur and Ex-MNA, Nawab Amanullah.
