PM approves financial assistance for needy citizens
ISLAMABAD, May 11 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani approved financial assistance for two citizens to help one of them in marrying off his daughter and to other as compensation for lost salary. Abdul Hakeem, resident of Islamabad, after drawing his salary from the bank at Aabpara on his way back to office lost his salary amounting to Rs.14000 on April 2.
He, therefore, had submitted an application to the Prime Minister requesting for appropriate compensation because he has no other source of income.
Upon consideration of the case, the Prime Minister granted Rs. 14000 to Abdul Hakeem.
Nazir Hussain Bhatti, President Peoples Labour Bureau, District Jhang had appealed to the Prime Minister for grant of financial assistance to marry off her daughter as he was a die hard and old party worker and presently his financial position is weak.
Upon consideration of the case, the Prime Minister sanctioned an amount of Rs. 50000.
Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Chief Coordinator, Prime Minister’s Grievances Wing presented cheques of above mentioned amount to both the applicants who thanked the Prime Minister for taking note of their miseries.
