PM approves promotion of 58 Pakistan Navy, 97 PAF officers
ISLAMABAD, Jun 8 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday approved the promotion of 58 officers of Pakistan Navy and 97 officers of Pakistan Air Force officers to different ranks, as recommended by their respective Promotion Boards.
Following is the detail of the promotions of Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force officers approved by the Prime Minister:-
i)    23 Captains of Pakistan Navy to the rank of Acting Commodore.
ii)    35 Commanders of Pakistan Navy to the rank of Acting Captain.
iii)    03 Air Commodores of Pakistan Air Force to the rank of Air Vice Marshal.
iv)    30 Group Captains to the rank of Air Commodore.
v)    64 Wing Commanders to the rank of Group Captain.
