Govt to use all resources to bring prosperity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: PM
ISLAMABAD, June 10 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday mentioning sacrifices of brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the war against terrorism, said the government would press into services all resources to bring peace and prosperity in the province. The Prime Minister was talking to the President of the Pakistan Peoples Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Provincial Health Minister, Syed Zahir Ali Shah at the PM House. Gilani said he would visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in near future to launch public welfare projects including Benazir Hospital and Children Hospital Complex projects.
The Prime Minister said the government would undertake a number of mega projects like Chashma uplift canal and Hassanabdal-Mansehra Expressway to accelerate pace of development in the province.
He said the development of infrastructure projects would generate employment and economic activity.
The Prime Minister asked the party leader of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to mobilize the party workers for solving the public problems. He stressed upon the party leadership to keep close liaison with the masses.
Syed Zahir Ali Shah apprised the Prime Minister about organizational affairs and political matters of the party.
