PM approves promotion of eight officers to BS-22
ISLAMABAD, June 14 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday approved the promotion of eight officers to the post of Secretary (BS-22). The Prime Minister gave the approval as Chairman of the High Powered Selection Board on the recommendations of Board meeting.
Those who have been promoted include Amin Hasim and Hamayun Raza Shafi (Police Service), Hafeez Ur Rehman, Imtiaz Hussain Kazi, Mohammad Siddiq Akbar and Prince Abbas Khan (District Management Group), Aziz Ahmed Bilour (Inland Revenue Service) and Mansoor Suhail (Information).
The Selection Board in its meeting held on Tuesday recommended the officers of the above occupational groups / services in view of their record, position, variety of experience, integrity and performance during their careers.
The Selection Board shall meet again to consider the BS-22 promotions for officers belonging to other Occupational Groups.
