PM asks to ensure foolproof arrangements for monsoon
ISLAMABAD, July 9 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Saturday directed the elected representatives to keep liaison with district and provincial administration to ensure foolproof arrangements for monsoon season. Talking to MNAs Mahmood Bajwa, Ch. Saeed Iqbal and Ch. Zahid Iqbal who called on him separately at the PM House, the Prime Minister said the government was focusing on the timely completion of development projects. 
It will generate employment opportunities as well as accelerate the economic activity, he added.
The Prime Minister accepted the invitation of Tariq Mahmood Bajwa to inaugurate Chakjhumra Interchange and FEDMAK Industrial State and the ground-breaking of Chiniot-Okara road in the near future.
The parliamentarians apprised the Prime Minister about the development projects in their areas and the preparations made for the monsoon season. They also discussed organizational matters of the party at districts levels.
