PM phones Karzai to condole brother’s demise
ISLAMABAD, July 12 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday telephoned Afghan President Hamid Karzai and expressed his deep grief and shock over the assassination of his brother today. Gilani expressed sorrow over the assassination of Ahmed Wali Karzai, and condemned the attack terming it as an act of cowardice. The Prime Minister prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the departed soul in peace and grant courage and fortitude to President Hamid Karzai and the family members of the deceased to bear the irreparable loss. The Afghan President thanked the Prime Minister for his sympathies.
