Balochistan’s progress to usher in new era of development: PM
QUETTA, July 12 (APP)Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Gilani said on Tuesday  that the progress and prosperity of Balochistan would open new era of development in the country.The operationalization of Gawadar port and its linkages with rest of the countries would generate economic activity and bring prosperity to Balochistan,he said  while talking to the leaders of parliamentary parties in Balochistan here at Governor House.The government has accelerated the work on improving road linkages in Balochistan with other provinces.
The Federal Government,the Prime Minister said while preparing the Aghaz-i-Haqooq -i-Balochistan special attention has been paid to cater  to electrification and water resources of the province. The allocation would be made in accordance with the capacity of the provincial government and its  organizations concerned to use the funds.
Earlier, public representatives apprised the Prime Minister of the problems of the province. They thanked Gilani for holding cabinet meeting in Balochistan which is manifestation of his keen and sincere interest for the uplift of Balochistan.
