Gilani presents his book to Kazak PM
ASTANA, Kazakhstan, Sep 7 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday presented his jail memoirs - Chah-e-Yusuf ki Sada (Reflections from Yusuf’s Well) to his Kazak counterpart Karim Massimov.The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan appreciated the political struggle of Prime Minister Gilani and his struggle for democracy.“You are a great man,” Massimov said and pointed that he had followed his trial and tribulations and lauded that he remained steadfast in strengthening the democratic system in the country.
The Kazak prime minister also mentioned Gilani’s book during his press statement.The 280 page book chronicles Pakistan’s political history under different political and military leaders from 1985, besides giving a glimpse into his early life and education.
