PM declares Gilgit as big city
ISLAMABAD, Sep 9 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday declared Gilgit as Big City for the purpose of House Rent Allowance and Conveyance Allowance for government employees. This declaration was part of the Special Package for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, announced by the Prime Minister during his visit to Gilgit on September 29, 2009.
