PM approves Pakistan’s participation for selection of Auditor of IPU
ISLAMABAD, Sep 9 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday has approved the participation of the Department of Auditor General of Pakistan in the bidding for Selection of the External Auditor of International Telecommunication Union (IPU) for the period from 2012 to 2015. If selected, it would definitely boost Pakistan’s role within the UN System, giving confidence to the International Donor Community in the capacities of Pakistan’s national accounting and auditing systems and to build capacities of the department of Auditor General of Pakistan.
