Best tribute to Quaid-i-Azam is to make Pakistan democratic,moderate Islamic state: PM
ISLAMABAD, Sept 10 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said that the best way of paying tribute to the Father of the Nation is to sincerely strive for making Pakistan a democratic, moderate, welfare, sovereign  and Islamic state in accordance with his vision.In a message on the occasion of the death anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Sep 11) the Prime Minister said, the entire nation is observing the death anniversary of the Quaid, the founding father of Pakistan,with respect and complete devotion.He said the Quaid-i-Azam is ranked among the visionary politicians and great statement of the world. The Quaid successfully led the freedom movement of the Muslims of the Sub-Continent with his political acumen and vision and established the first Islamic ideological state of the world, he added.
Freedom Movement is a living testimony to the Quaid’s political insight and visionary leadership, which would continue to be a bright reference point in the history, he said.
The Prime Minister said entire world is aware of the Quaid’s adherence to principles. He respected law and constitution all his life and fostered positive values in politics. He imparted such an inspiring lesson of ‘unity, faith and discipline’ to the Muslims of the Sub-Continent and his thoughts are beacon of light for people of Pakistan.
 “The nation is fully aware of the fact that we are poised at critical juncture of our history. Of the problems and challenges facing the country,terrorism is the foremost on the agenda,” the Prime Minister said.
He said the incidents of terrorism have caused a loss of precious lives and improving economic advancement.The people of Pakistan are committed to uproot this menace, he added.
 The Prime Minister said that there is no space for extremism in a country envisioned by the Father of the Nation. It is the firm resolve of the present democratic government that we would leave no stone unturned to make Pakistan the Quaid’s Pakistan in the real sense, the Prime Minister said.
“We have achieved many milestones by acting upon the policy of reconciliation and accommodation. I am sure we would be successful in overcoming the problems by seeking guidance from the sayings of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. I pray to Allah Almighty to guide us to serve our country,” the Prime Minister said.
