Gilani greets Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea on National Day
ISLAMABAD, Sept 16 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has sent a message of greetings to the Prime Minister of Independent State of Papua New Guinea Peter Charles Paire O’ Nell, CMG on the National Day of his country falling on September 16.In his message, the Prime Minister said, “On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I wish to convey to Your Excellency and to the people of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, our warm felicitation on the occasion of the National Day of your country.”
He said the people of Pakistan cherish the cordial relations that exist between the two countries. He expressed confidence that these ties will continue to prosper in the years to come.
“My government will further deepen and expand our friendly relationship in all fields,” he added. “I avail myself of this opportunity to express my best wishes for Your Excellency’s personal health, happiness and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea,” he added.
