Minister appeals ulema to avoid giving provocative statements
KARACHI, Jan 6 (APP):  Federal Interior Minister, A. Rehman Malik has appealed to the ulema to avoid giving provocative statements. He said this while talking to media outside the Bilawal House here on Thursday. He said Pakistan is an Islamic country, which was founded in the name of Islam and all of us should jointly serve the country. To a question, Rehman Malik said the investigation into the assassination of Punjab Governor Salman Taseer is in preliminary stage and he will not express his views about it. To another question with regard to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, he said our friendship with the MQM is good and we are moving forward in positive manners.
