Govt committed to eliminate terrorism at all cost: Malik
ISLAMABAD, Jan 26 (APP) Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that the government is committed to flush out terrorism from the country at all cost.Speaking in the National Assembly on Wednesday the Interior Minister said, “We have to fight together against the terrorism as terrorists are killing innocent people across the country.”He said it was a matter of satisfaction that all the political parties  were united to eliminate terrorism from the country.He strongly condemned suicide attacks in Lahore and Karachi and lauded the policemen, who laid down lives and averted major devastation.
“We salute the police officials who have stopped the terrorists from entering in the processions of Chehlum. If they have entered the processions,there would would have been much bigger loss”, he added.
He said some anti-Pakistan forces were trying to destabilize the country, but the security forces were fully alive and would not allow them to succeed in their nefarious designs. “They are hired assassins and are ‘Zalaman‘, who have nothing to do with religion”, he added He recalled that due to strict security measures, the Ashura Muharram passed peacefully.  About six terrorist incidents were averted due to timely action by the security forces.
