Control room established to monitor Rabi-ul-Awal processions: Malik
ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 (APP): Interior Minister Senator A. Rehman Malik said on Tuesday that a control room has been established at National Crisis Management Cell of the ministry to monitor Rabi-ul-Awal processions all over the country.Talking to chief of Jafria Alliance Allama Abbas Komeli, who called on him here, Malik said he has issued instructions for foolproof security, as made during Muharram-ul-Haram, said a press release.The minister appreciated the cooperation of Ulema, especially Allama Abbas Komeli, for maintaining peace in the country.
He urged the public to have a closer look at suspicious elements and inform the ministry about suspected people by telephone numbers of National Crisis Management Cell: 051-9211223-4.
Allama Abbas Komeli thanked the minister for taking special interest in the security arrangements during Rabi-ul-Awal.
Chief of Jafria Alliance also briefed the minister about the problems faced by Ulema community.
