Raymond Davis case will be decided by courts: Rehman Malik
ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 (APP): Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik said on Wednesday that Raymond Davis case will be decided by courts and urged the media to stop questioning on this issue. Talking to reporters outside the Parliament House he said” I would not talk on the case of Raymond Davis as Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani in National Assembly had given clear cut policy statement of government on this issue”.
Replying to another question, he rejected the dead line politics of Muslim League-Nawaz leadership on 10 point agenda and added that every issue would be resolved with the consultation of all political parties.
He said Pakistan Peoples Party came into power with the strong will of Pakistani people and it would complete its tenure.
“ Parliament is right forum to discuss the public issues and government would always welcome the point of view of every party” Malik added.
Replying to another question the minister said we are unable to understand the media policy on the issue of cabinet because now government is facing criticism on the downsizing of the cabinet.
Malik said $ 26 billion dollar exports was result of excellent policy of the government and requested the overseas Pakistanis to send their remittances through banks as it would help in further boosting the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
