Pakistani cricket team, nation’s hero : Rehman Malik
ISLAMABAD, Mar 28 (APP): Minister for Interior Rehman Malik said on Monday that Pakistan Cricket team players are the hero of country, and expressed the hope that they would bring coveted trophy of the World Cup for the nation. He expressed these views while talking to reporters outside the Parliament House. Malik said Pakistani players have done a great job during the World Cup matches, by bringing smiles on face of the citizens. Replying to a question he said, “ Being an elder, I advised all players of Pakistani team to focus only on their game, besides avoiding talk on irrelevant issues.”
Replying to a question, he said “bookies in South Africa, Dubai, Bombay and Karachi are busy but I know our team players are professional and they will play for their country”.
The Interior Minister said, “My best wishes are with Pakistan team and hopefully they will prove a great team of World by wining the World Cup contest.”
He said India has assured foolproof security arrangements for the Pakistani team.
On a question, he said drone attacks must be stopped as these are counterproductive and added “I request to Pakistani scientists to work for getting drone technology as soon as possible”.
