Unregistered, fake identity sims to be blocked: Rehman Malik
KARACHI, April 14 (APP): Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik said all such mobile phones sims which are unregistered or issued on fake identity card would be blocked with in next 15 days.He was talking to media after a meeting with Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) delegation at Governor House here Thursday.Rehman Malik said the mobile phone companies are directed to block all such cellular phones tonight which have same IMEI numbers.The Federal Interior Minister said the government will take all necessary measures to provide protection to the business community in the metropolis.
Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and Sindh Minister for Irrigation, Jam Saifullah Dhareejo were also present.
Earlier, a delegation of KCCI led by prominent businessman, Siraj Kasim Teli attended a meeting at Governor House.
The Interior Minister, Rehman Malik also attended the meeting.The representatives of the business community informed the meeting with regard to problems being faced to the traders and businessmen in the city.
