Outgoing Sudan Ambassador calls on Rehman Malik
ISLAMABAD, June 27 (APP): Interior Minister Senator Rehman Malik on Monday underlined the importance of enhancing relations with Sudan in bilateral, economic and commercial fields. The Interior Minister stated this as the outgoing Sudan Ambassador Muhammad Omer Musa called on him here at Interior Ministry.Rehman Malik mentioned the common cultural heritage of the two countries and Pakistan’s endeavor to comprehensively upgrade its important relationship with Sudan.During the meeting, warm sentiments were exchanged and ways and means of augmenting bilateral relations were discussed.
The Ambassador of Sudan termed Pakistan as a very important country for Sudan, and said it was his country’s desire to have a higher level of partnership between the two countries.
Ambassador Omer Musa also appreciated a project of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Sudan.
